Marvel Team-Up #14 (foil) features Spider-Man teaming up with the Sub-Mariner to battle Tiger Shark and the aquatic mutates called Aquanoids. While initially outmatched, the heroes are able to regain the upper hand when Spider-Man uses water to revive Namor's strength, leading to the defeat of their foes just before the villains' exploding vessel is destroyed. The issue is also notable for a crossover with the Invincible series, where Mark Grayson briefly travels to the 616 Marvel Universe to meet Spider-Man, though this is not the main story of the issue.
